I hear the thunder,
I feel the rumbling in my chest,
I see the light, as it fills the sky.
Can you hear it.
Can you feel it,
Or am I alone in this world,
Watching the lights.
I pray, “let the lightning come”
and
Set this world ablaze,
Let the lightning come,
Save Your mercy,
for the ones who deserve it.
Shatter everything,
let the lightning come,
God, please, make this world.
Burn...
And tonight I realize,
that if this was Your design,
then everything I've said,
would align with my demise,
And if You let this world burn,
then I would have no alibi,
No reason why I shouldn't die,
No God ordained genocide,
Or haven't you heard,
It's me who spoke the words,
And every line that I've supplied,
was a lie that I'd deny,
Even thinking of this,
That I would let the world burn,
I analyze the your splinters,
When there's a log in my eye,
So if anyone is to blame,
If anyone is to burn,
It is I who needs to die,
This world no longer putrefy.
